*Adapted from A Series of Traditional Moebius Folk Sketches (Ja, shoor…).

E. Michael Blake runs the fourth-largest lawn care empire in northwestern South Carolina. If you so much as start up a leaf blower in Spartanburg without his say-so, they’ll find you face down with your neck weed-whacked, y’know what I’m sayin’?

Larry Blake comes to us from a long line of performers. A conga line, to be precise. We grabbed him out of the line when it was passing our table at a wedding reception, and we haven’t regretted it since.

Dan Ley (Director) has successfully stretched the bounds of foolish overcommitment and will be staring at you cluelessly from the stage. Pity him. Throw flowers. And money. Money would be fine too.

We are quite sure that Chuck O’Neill‘s preference for long sleeves has nothing to do with his troubled past, or concealing his old prison “tats”.   Please, for the love of GOD, don’t ask him.

Robin Rothbard is willing to admit to over 30 years of involvement with Moebius Theatre, performing in roles too numerous to count and too ridiculous to mention. She hopes her current status as company president renders her immune to both criminal prosecution and theatrical critique.

An IT admin by day and an improviser by night, Brian Sebby is a long- time fan of science fiction and fantasy.  While Star Trek will always be his first love, he is also a big fan of Star Wars, Doctor Who, the Marvel Universe, Stargate, and many other franchises.  Most of his free time is spent doing improv, and he performs regularly with Moebius Theatre and The Unwritten Works of William Shakespeare at Westside Improv in Wheaton.

Pyronia (aka Penelope Skrzynski), has an extensive and well-used collection of firestarters, from sparkers to flamethrowers. She also has a nice, quiet, sneaky battery-powered chainsaw (best Christmas present ever). Her sense of humor can be scary. Moebius Theatre is a wonderful outlet for her.

As Moebius stumbles (on our walker) gamely over the half century mark, we think of all of our members who have put heart and soul into writing and performing countless shows over the decades, and to the audiences who have watched them, and are profoundly grateful to both.

Thanks to each and every member of the cast, for their hard work (and patience), for pushing through and putting up with, and making suggestions that improved everything we did; to Brian, for volunteering into a complicated situation; to Mike, for that extra push at the end; and, on behalf of the entire cast, to Lynnie, who kept us fed and provided us with unexpected baked goods.
